How to Fish Trick Shots and Killscore

Practise repeatable finishing moves, build killscore bonuses and prepare for 360 No Scope without wasting boss attempts.

Quick answer

Practise on a weak isolated creature. Lower its health first, create open space, perform one trick movement and use the next shot as the finishing hit. Change only one part of the setup after each failed attempt.

Best practice target

Use an ordinary creature that can survive until the planned final shot. Avoid bosses, groups, fire and other players during practice because they can steal the kill or make it unclear which action earned the score.

Repeatable practice routine

  1. Isolate one normal creature on open ground.
  2. Lower its health with direct shots.
  3. Stop attacking and create enough room for the planned movement.
  4. Perform one spin, gun movement or other trick input.
  5. Land the finishing shot immediately after the action.
  6. Check the killscore result before changing the setup.

If the score does not change, repeat with the same weapon and distance. Changing the target, weapon and movement together makes it impossible to identify the failed condition.

Build toward the achievement goals

  • Noob: use a plain direct finishing shot with no extra multiplier.
  • Impressive: practise repeatable trick inputs until the killscore reaches the official 5x requirement.
  • 360 No Scope: complete a full rotation and make the unscoped shot the killing hit.
  • Easy: save the ten-second boss kill for a prepared high-damage run rather than early practice.

Common reasons a trick does not count

  • The target died before the trick shot landed.
  • Another player or environmental effect delivered the final damage.
  • The movement was incomplete.
  • The shot happened too late to be associated with the trick.
  • The 360 finishing shot used the scope.
